PART 1: Origination
Golax Industral Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001 by our major shareholder, Mr. Guangxi SHI. Prior to this , his battery factory in Guangzhou (QuanLi Battery Factory) had been running for over 10 years. His products of Lixing had covered the whole Pearl River Delta of China. Golax was founded primarily to export batteries to explore the global market.

To achieve this, the offices of Golax were settled in Futian district, Shenzhen. Based our company in Shenzhen was not a coincidence. After 30 years’ development of “Reform & Opening-Up”, Shenzhen has truly became “A window to the world”. During that time, the Canton Fair was the primary channel for Golax to show our products to our potential customers. Till today, the fair is still important.

PART 2: Golden Age
The year 2001 was called “The Golden Age of Exportation of China”. Throughout the country, Shenzhen was regarded as the leading city on goods exports. Accordingly, Golax moved its offices to Luohu district of Shenzhen, which is closer to the Chinese Customs Offices and also to Hong Kong. During this time, Golax quickly spreads its business to Europe, South America, America, Middle East and Africa. We now have our products in over 30 countries.

A full range of carbon zinc dry batteries, including AA, AAA, C, D and 9V carbon-zinc batteries and alkaline Zinc Mn series batteries such as LR20, LR14, LR6, LR03, LR1, 6LR6, 1/2LR61 are produced by more than 20 advanced production lines in our factory, and we have over 400 workers. Our R&D team is technologically advanced and ensures our products comply with the international standards. We are certified to the following standards:

We also supply material and machines for making batteries.

PART 3: Transformation
In 2007, a number of developing countries other than China were raising their competitiveness in international trade. The same year, the global demand of dry batteries greatly dropped compared to previous year. How did Golax react to such circumstances?
We diversified our business and entered in the manufacture and supply of Toilet Tissues. In this regard, we have 30% share of BAOJIAN PAPER FACTORY, which covers an area of more than 100,000 square metres. In terms of capacity, we are able to supply more than 100 containers in a month and up to 20 containers any time. We are one of the main suppliers for GREEN LEAF, SWAN and LOTUS in USA and Asia. We are certified to the following standards:

In 2008, Golax expanded its products further to manufacture and supply JEANS. Our jeans factory, FUFU JEANS FACTORY is located in XINTANG TOWN (70% of Chinese jeans are produced in this town). Currently, we are the main supplier of RIVERS jeans in AUSTRILIA. We also provide OEM jeans to the USA, Saudi Arabic and Spain. Our products meet all stringent quality standards for the European market. Our production and management have ISO 9000 certification.

Besides the Canton Fair, Golax also markets its business through Internet. We attempt to meet our customers’ needs in more accessible ways. Golax makes itself available over different e-business platforms, such as Alibaba, Made-In-China, and Global Sources.

PART4: Challenge
Today, the global market has created new opportunities for Golax and we are ready to meet the challenge by implementing our “5R” strategy.

“R1”: Resource Reorganization
We have rationalized the business by moving to a new location, combining two departments into one. The new offices are closer to the Shenzhen major transport links and to Hong Kong. These offices are convenient, only 2 minutes from subway.
A new OA (Office Automation) system has been implemented to improve corporate efficiency.

“R2” : Image Renewal
To keep pace with our international expansion, we has rebranded the organization and became Golax Industrial Co…

“R3”: Banking Registration
Golax has opened new bank accounts in the UK and Hong Kong to facilitate international banking transactions.

“R4”: Personalized Redesign
Data Force Technology Co. Ltd was set up by us in 2010. We now have in-house Information Technology department, which provides our own softare solutions.

“R5”: Logistics Recombination
We have forged a relationship with freight company to transport our products across the world at a competitive rate and are able to ensure a speedy release of the Bills of Lading for our customers.

光喜实业简介

第一部分：起源

深圳市光喜实业有限公司，系光喜集团下属的进出口部门。公司于2001年在深圳成立，主要为集团输出电子、家用品、服装等产品。

集团下属的黎星电池厂于1992年在广州成立，生产全系列的干电池（包括：AA、AAA、C、D以及9V碳锌电池）、碱性电池，及充电电池。该厂产品符合GB和ISO9000标准。在全体员工不懈努力之下，黎星电池厂产品覆盖了珠三角地区，“奇光”等品牌占有了主要的国内市场。

深圳市光喜实业有限公司兴办的初衷，就是为了替黎星电池厂打开国外市场。

第二部分：进步

2001年前后，被称作中国出口的“黄金年代”。深圳作为中国通向国外的窗口，更是起到了领头羊的表率作用。光喜实业在这样良好的大背景下，积极进取，努力奋斗，将市场开创到欧洲、南美、美国、中东、非洲等30多个国家与地区。此外，更是创造了“Magic Power”、“Nishica”、“Akira”等国际知名电池品牌。时有“月出电池二十柜，不辞常做光喜人”的佳话。

除了成品电池，光喜实业亦逐步向国外客户输出电池原材料和机械、生产线等设备设施。

第三部分：转型

2004年，光喜集团进入煤炭等基础能源市场。越南的煤炭通过本司进口，为南方各类工厂所用，其中包括大量纸品工厂。此后，光喜集团入股30％，参与东莞市宝建纸业有限公司。从此，家用纸品也成为光喜实业出口的主要产品之一。纸品的销售比起电池更加不受地域的约束，因此在全球范围内都能达到良好的销量。目前纸品的出口每月约在五十柜左右。

2006年．光喜集团在广州增城新塘牛仔城兴办了一家牛仔制衣厂。（中国70％的牛仔都出自该牛仔城。）从此年开始，本司参加的“广交会”与“阿里巴巴”、“中国制造”等商务平台又增加了一样产品。光喜实业下属牛仔营销部拥有自己的设计师，外商通常选择我们设计的样品，量产之后，再投放到当地的市场。目前我们的牛仔服饰已经成功销往欧洲、美国以及中东市场。

第四部分：挑战

2008年之后，其它发展中国家国际竞争力不断提高，而国际金融形势风起云涌。是大浪淘沙之时，更是机遇叩门之时。光喜实业不断奋进，提出了“5R”战略，迎接新的挑战：

第一步：资源重组（Resource Re-organization）

2009年初，公司搬入新办公室，将原先数个部门重新整合，开源节流。此办公室空间更为开阔，也距离火车站、汽车站、地铁更近，客户往来香港更为便利。同时，我们也积极推动办公自动化及“无纸办公”的进程，提高工作效率。

第二步：形象重建（Image Renewal）

为进一步与国际化商务接轨，光喜实业重新规划了英文名称“Golax”，减少混淆，易读易记。为配合新英文名称的使用，公司标志也再次设计，力求简约、隽永。此外，新的公司主页也在全面设计中，以跟上时代步伐，将商务的稳重与时尚的个性化发挥极致。

第三步：商务重设（Banking Registration）

伴随着公司地址及名称的变更，在商务上所使用的一切银行资料也随之更新。为商务往来需要，光喜实业在香港及英国都设立了下属公司。

第四步：自主设计（Personalized Redesign）

为进一步提高办公效率，公司于2010年成立数据力量工作室，为公司的办公自动化提供数据力量支持，同时也自主开发各种软件。

第五步：物流重组（Logistics Recombination）

伴随着公司业务的不断扩大，为提高公司在国际市场中的竞争力，公司也涉足货物运输，并能提供有竞争力的价格，同时能确保为我们的客户迅速释放提单，以期为客户提供最好的服务。
